Which treatment is right for me?
That depends on your condition, medical history, and personal goals. At our practice, we carefully assess your situation and select the treatment or combination of treatments, that makes the most sense for you.
What does Functional Medicine mean in your practice?
For us, Functional Medicine means not looking at symptoms in isolation, but considering them in connection with possible causes, stresses, and functional relationships within the body. This creates a treatment that is more individualized and targeted than a standard therapy.
What sets your practice apart from a traditional physiotherapy practice?
We work in an interdisciplinary way, combining several therapeutic and medical specialties under one roof. This allows us not only to treat conditions functionally, but also to specifically take into account causes, interrelationships, and complementary treatment options.
Are different therapies combined in your practice?
Yes. Depending on the condition, it can be beneficial to combine different approaches. This is exactly where the strength of our interdisciplinary concept lies: treatment is not chosen according to a fixed scheme, but is tailored individually to you.
Who is your practice suitable for?
Our practice is suitable for people with acute, recurring, or long-standing conditions who are seeking a targeted, transparent, and holistic approach to treatment.
Do you only treat pain?
No. In addition to pain, we also treat functional disorders, restrictions in movement, tension conditions, and conditions in which various functional relationships within the body play a role.
What can I expect during my first appointment?
At the first appointment, we take the time to thoroughly assess your symptoms, medical history, and possible connections. Based on this, we develop a treatment plan tailored to your individual situation.
Is the treatment tailored individually to me?
Yes. Our goal is not to offer standard solutions, but to develop a treatment plan tailored to your symptoms, daily life, and personal goals.
Is infusion therapy an independent part of your treatment?
Yes. Infusion therapy is an independent component of our treatment concept and can be used specifically when the body needs additional support or when regeneration and stabilization should be effectively promoted.
What is included in complementary medicine?
In our practice, complementary medicine includes acupuncture, naturopathy, and induction therapy. These methods are not applied indiscriminately, but only when they meaningfully complement your individual treatment plan.
Can I book an appointment directly?
Yes. You can contact us by phone, by email, or through our online appointment booking system.
Is your practice also suitable for complex or long-standing conditions?
Yes. Especially for recurring, persistent, or more complex complaints, our interdisciplinary approach can be particularly effective, as we address not only the symptom but also the potential causes and underlying connections.
FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions & Answers About Infusions
Can the infusion be painful?
When placing the intravenous access, you may feel a brief, sharp prick. The infusion itself is generally well tolerated and is usually perceived as comfortable.
When will I notice an effect?
This varies depending on the individual and the indication. Some patients notice an improvement shortly after the treatment, while in other cases the effect develops gradually over several sessions.
How many infusions are useful?
Depending on the goal, a single infusion can be sufficient as a “booster,” or a course of treatments may be advisable (e.g., 3–10 sessions). Dr. phil. Bodstangen will create an individualized treatment plan together with you.
How do I know which infusion is right for me?
Before the appropriate infusion is selected for you, a thorough medical history (anamnese) is taken. Your personal symptoms are assessed, based on which the suitable infusion is chosen.
Which ingredients are used?
We use only tested, high-quality ingredients.
