About us & the practice
At the Health Center at Viktualienmarkt, we combine professional precision, holistic thinking, and personal care into a treatment concept that goes beyond mere symptom relief. Our goal is not only to alleviate symptoms, but also to better understand their underlying causes and interrelationships and to achieve lasting improvements.
DR. PHIL. JÖRGEN BÅDSTANGEN
I combine many years of experience, solid training, and a holistic understanding of health into a treatment concept that places the individual as a whole at the center.
My professional background includes physiotherapy, osteopathy, manual medicine, pain therapy, acupuncture, naturopathy, as well as functional and preventive medicine — complemented by my qualification as a Heilpraktiker in Germany.
A particular part of my professional journey has been the care of tennis, basketball, and hockey athletes from German elite sport and the international top level. This experience has significantly shaped my focus on precision, individual care, and sustainable recovery at the highest level.
Key milestones:
• Training in physiotherapy and manual therapy
• Osteopathy studies with international qualification
• Master of Science in nutrition and sports medicine
• Qualification as a Heilpraktiker in Germany
• Specialization in functional and preventive medicine
• Establishment of the CBC in 2003
